The cheeseburger is what you do with a good patty when you don’t want to overload it: cheese on top, onions cooked in the pan until they’re golden and sweet, and a soft sesame bun.

A little history

Nobody knows for certain who first put cheese on a hamburger – the cheeseburger caught on in the US in the first half of the 20th century. Today it’s the most-ordered burger of all, in Mannheim just as much as in the big cities of the Gulf.

What makes ours different

The caramelised onions. They take away the sharpness of raw onion and add a gentle sweetness that goes well with the cheese. Lettuce and gherkins bring freshness and acidity, and the creamy sauce holds it all together.

Which burger is right for you?

If you prefer a more classic burger with fresh onions, go for the Classic Beef Burger. Want double cheese and double meat? That’s the Double Cheese Burger. And for chicken fans there’s the Crispy Chicken Burger.

Something to share first

A burger doesn’t rule out Arabic starters. Hummus and batata harra – spicy potato cubes – sit happily on the same table. For groups and family parties, we’re happy to advise on our catering.

How is the cheeseburger different from the Classic Beef Burger?

It’s the onions and the bun. The cheeseburger has sweet caramelised onions, a creamy sauce and a sesame bun. The Classic Beef Burger has finely chopped fresh onions and a more savoury burger sauce.

Is there a double version?

Yes, the Double Cheese Burger has two patties, each topped with cheese.

What side goes with it?

The burger comes on its own. From the finger food section, fries, sweet potato fries or loaded cheesy fries all work well.

Can the kids have a burger while the adults eat Arabic food?

That’s exactly why the burger is on the menu. Everything comes from the same kitchen, so you can mix and match at the table.
