Request this packageNew Year’s Eve is a long night, and the best part of it happens around the table. Few cuisines suit it as well as Arabic food: mezze are shared, topped up and passed around, the meal stretches over hours, and nobody has to be stuck at the stove while everyone else is celebrating.
Two ways to see in the new year
- New Year’s Eve dinner at the restaurant: we’re open on New Year’s Eve, so celebrate with us at H1 5 in the heart of Mannheim – at a table for two, with friends or as a group in our event hall for 70–80 guests.
- New Year’s Eve buffet at home: celebrate at home, at your clubhouse or at the office, and we’ll deliver the buffet in Mannheim and within around 70 km.
What could be on the table
We don’t publish a fixed New Year’s Eve menu in advance – it’s available on request. It’s built on the food our guests know all year round: cold mezze such as hummus, muhammara and baba ganoush, hot starters such as sambousek and kibbeh, grilled dishes such as shish taouk and Dunya kebab, and knafeh to finish. For a party with lots of guests, finger food platters you can eat standing up work well. Any guests who don’t eat meat will find plenty of choice among the mezze.
It pays to enquire early
New Year’s Eve only comes once a year, and the same goes for tables, the event hall and delivery slots: the earlier you ask, the more choice you have. Send us the date, the number of guests and whether you’d like to celebrate with us or at home. We’ll reply within 24 hours with a suggestion.
