Delivery or celebration
We cook fresh, deliver and set up – or welcome you at our place.
A shared iftar is a lovely gesture towards colleagues who are fasting – and, for everyone else, a chance to experience Ramadan from the inside. Timing is what matters most: nobody eats until sunset, and we plan the delivery or your table around exactly that. In February and March, sunset falls in the early evening, often close to the end of the working day.
Three ways to host a corporate iftar
At the restaurant: tables or our event hall for 70–80 guests at H1 5, right in the centre of Mannheim
Catering at the office: a hot buffet with soup, mezze and grilled dishes, set up in a meeting room or the canteen
Boxes: individually packed, for teams spread across several sites or who’d like to take their iftar home – find out more about our iftar boxes
What’s on the table
Traditionally the fast is broken with dates and water; after that, a warm lentil soup is just the thing. Then come mezze to share, such as hummus, muhammara and fattoush, and dishes from the grill like shish taouk and tikka skewers. Anyone who isn’t fasting simply joins in. To finish, there’s knafeh and Arabic tea – the part of the evening where most of the conversations happen.
Easy to organise
For HR or the office team, a corporate iftar means one quote, one contact person and one invoice. We deliver in Mannheim and within around 70 km, so to sites in Walldorf, Heidelberg, Ludwigshafen or Frankfurt too.
A tip: ask your fasting colleagues beforehand which evening suits them. On some days family or the mosque comes first, and a date that works for everyone is what makes the evening.
